Objective of the programme
To provide support in strengthening routine immunization, VPDs & AEFI surveillance, new vaccine introduction and COVID-19 vaccination coordinated with government and partners.
Description of duties:
Under the guidance of the WHO Team Lead IVD and the direct supervision of National Professional Officer Immunization the incumbent will have to perform the activities to support EPI Programme as described below:
- Provide routine financial support to the routine immunization, surveillance and COVID-19 vaccination activities on planning, monitoring, reporting (ad-hoc, monthly and quarterly reporting) and record maintenance.
- Prepare financial estimates and budgets for routine immunization, surveillance, and COVID-19 activities in line with work plan.
- Prepare and maintain tool for budget forecast and control.
- Ensure timely implementation of routine immunization, surveillance and COVID 19 vaccination projects with highest quality.
- Ensure a regular monitoring of the financial status related to routine immunization, surveillance and COVID-19 vaccination projects.
- Ensure effective functioning of financial operations and systems in support of the programme and administration.
- Prepare and maintain dashboard to indicate implementation status, closure of activities, reporting requirements and issues and delays thereof.
- Work in close collaboration with government and other relevant Implementing Partners to ensure timely and proper implementation and closure of activities as well as submission of financial reports.
- Follow-up on the submission of Statement of Expenditure/financial reports
- Verify reports and supporting documents to ensure completeness of transactions in line with WHO policies, rules and regulations
- Support closure of POs related to routine immunization, surveillance, and COVID-19 vaccination projects
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Essential: Bachelor’s degree in account management / business administration/ Statistics / Economics or any other relevant field
Desirable: Master’s degree in the relevant field
Experience:
Essential: At least 3 years of experience in financial management and reporting
Desirable: Previous experience of working with government procedure in financial management

Languages:
Good knowledge writing report and in English and Bengali

Computer Literacy:
