Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. In Bangladesh, we provide products such as bank accounts, debit cards, personal loans, online banking as well as unique services to meet the international banking needs of our high net worth and employee banking customers.
We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join the Procurement team in the role of Branch Business Manager.
Responsibilities:
- The BBM, HSBC Select is accountable for planning, directing and controlling the activities of the Select Team which includes Senior Relationship Managers and Relationship Managers
- Develop the given portfolio, plan daily actions to pro-actively contact, solicit and service HNW consumers and drive through the established strategy and generate leads through accurate portfolio analysis.
- Develop and retain existing customers by marketing and cross-selling the bank’s WPB Products and adhering to service standards to ensure quality services to consumers.
- Prepare and coach SRMs and RMs in building an understanding of the client’s business, identifying customer needs and delivering fair outcomes
- Increase productivity by developing team spirit and staff motivation.
- Observe and assist SRMs and RMs to enrich engagement with customers so as to ensure rigorous Customer Due Diligence and maximum mutual commercial benefits
- Develop a sustainable business growth strategy, focusing the team on maximising the depth and breadth of existing Select customers, with an awareness of cultivating new-to bank opportunities, whilst leveraging our network
- Confidently manage financial crime risk throughout the customers lifecycle by identifying, assessing, accepting, monitoring, escalating and mitigating risk
- Ensure all applicable operational risk HSBC Standards and policies are adhered to by the team, reporting any breaches in accordance with local procedures
- Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
- Identify, reengineer and improve existing process and service of WSB and WPB with a view to increase efficiency and optimize cost, manages projects as assigned by management
- Maintain and develop awareness among staff of operational risks and minimize the likelihood of its occurrence, implements and observes Group compliance policy
- Meet/contact current and potential customers with the highest profit and development potential to discuss their financial needs, sell appropriate financial service items and expand account connections by cross selling other goods.
- Raise customer knowledge of alternative channels and educate them on how to use them more optimally.
- Customer Acquisition (New to Bank/Upgrades), Savings and Borrowing, Customer Experience, Leads Acted, Client Appointments, Digital Engagement, and Recurring Revenue are the KPIs that SRM must meet.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree from a public/private university
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a particular emphasis upon encouraging, influencing and negotiating
- Planning, organizing, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to demonstrate and implement outstanding customer service.
- Proven track record in Relationship Management in the retail sector.
